Nebraska Accomplishments & Impacts, Years 1-6, 2003-2008

Project Funding Accomplishments:
University of Nebraska-Extension 4-H Youth Development has received support for 6 years through National 4-H Council for a USDA Rural Youth Development project called Engaging Youth Serving Community (EYSC). The funds flow through CSREES and are awarded through National 4-H Council as an EYSC/Youth In Governance project. Communities receive funds to support training for a core team of youth and adults, to conduct community meetings to identify issues, to develop action plans, and to implement activities that produce results for the action plans. Youth and adults work together with all aspects of the project.
